George Bernard Shaw & Visual

Right, so first things first,

If you live in Carlow and you are unaware of this place:

Where have you been? This is of course the shiny new George Bernard Shaw and Visualise Centre for Contemporary Art. Despite a few concerns that this 'fancy new theatre/gallery' would just be importing the big shows and leave our own theatre groups/artists left behind in the dust have long since been dispelled and it is safe to say that it has received a very warm welcome. This is in large part due to it's thrilling and varied program. Though I personally have yet to see a show (due in large part to the fact I've been living elsewhere) I have yet to hear of a failing show/exhibition and will be rectifying this starting with the Lunchtime Storytellers on Thursday. Stay tuned for my musings, and in the meantime, have a good browse at what's on offer. You may even find something you like.
